Landscape Architecture

We approach each landscape project with an understanding of the cultural context and history of site, an understanding drawn from extensive research, both in archives and on the ground. This approach allows us to encapsulate an authentic vision of a particular setting. We provide clients with a set of services ranging from the initial site inventory and history through to detailed design and construction drawings.  Our advice about the use of plant materials and site furnishings is historically informed. We also provide guidelines and strategies for the historic conservation and restoration of landscapes. To each project we bring our experience in designing and developing parks, botanical gardens, streetscapes and heritage tourism sites; environmental design of eco-tourism sites and cultural landscapes; and to landscape design, we contribute our knowledge of historic plant material.
